The innocent glow radiating from her face, with the smile of happiness enjoying moments of fun in the water, I shot this little girl at a pool down south kosgoda.
It was the glow of the water, the expression, her freedom, the fun & joy which surrounded her inspired me to capture this image.
This little one had just finished taking a quick dip, which i was unfortunate to capture, but i did manage to shoot the following two images, with the background neatly out of focus on a large aperture.
The flowing water filling in the background, while matching the colors of his features made an interesting and pretty shot.
I wish i had used the proper camera settings, so this looks a bit blurred, n i blame myself for not using a calibrated monitor for more details.
Anyway, I do love closeups, especially when it comes to revealing features of a pretty young lass as in this photograph which i captured during breakfast at Kosgoda Beach Resort, down south Sri Lanka
Did a few tweaks with Photo shop, but I'm no longer sure how the actual final lighting conditions will be due to the fact my monitor been uncalibrated due to technical faults...
I hope the image isn't too dull.... maybe i need to work on this again... for now am posting this for any personal comments,.....
Another few beginners steps in experimental studio photography, with my younger sister vingi, ........ she'd got a 'mehendi' done on both her hands, which i decided to use as a feature along with a window frame......
I took this photograph, when i was on an outing with some of my girlfriends, passing a pond they all plucked out a flower each, and we took some shots.....
I like this one, so i did a bit of enhancing in photo shop to create a black and white image with the flowers still retaining there color.
Camera used - Fuji - Fine Pix A610!!!!!!....... its really good for basic photography i guess..!
The tared pathway which led to the Kiri Vehera, Kataragama - Sri Lanka. The overhanging thick foliage of the trees lined on the sides with the early morning sun shining through them made a whole new world that.....
I regret having been there early enough to capture the mist that would be visible then.....
The old man in the center, hobbling his way towards the temple's entrance in hope to collect a few coins by begging his way for a breakfast, and the Buddhist flag banners hung from the trees also speak its own tales together........
I took this photograph of a road side seller down coast of the Sri Lanka, somewhere at Ambalangoda,...... I'm not even sure what he had for sale.... but his face simply made an incredible shot to make a good photograph.... I should crop tighter n maybe a black n white should produce good results.....
Another one of my friends, posing for a shot, which I eddited in photoshop to slightly over expose the image and create a dramatic lighting, with shadows.
I love how the colours match..... her skirt, does go with the window all blue and white........!
I just do not know what I should say about this photograph.... So I'l leave you all to tell the story......!
